WHAT ARE NEUROTOXINS (BOTOX® AND DYSPORT®)?
Neurotoxins are products used to relax overactive muscles. They are most commonly injected around the eyes, brow, forehead, glabella ("elevens"), and neck, in order to soften existing wrinkles (by weakening the muscle that create lines and wrinkles) and prevent future wrinkles from forming.

PRE & POST PREPARATION
Pre:
-Avoid supplements and medications that thin the blood for 2-3 days prior to treatment.
-Workout/exercise prior to treatment.
-Take Arnica or eat Pineapple (yes, really!) 48 hours prior to treatment to help eliminate any bruising.
Post:
-Stay/lay upright for 4-6 hours post treatment.
-Wait 24 hours to workout/exercise.
-Avoid rubbing the area treated for 24 hours.

How many units do I need?
This will very person to person. The average units per area are: forehead (6-12 units), glabella ("elevens") (20 units), above the brow (4-8 units), crows feet (12 units), and neck (10-30 units).
